Pfaff appointed to Wisconsin USDA post - St. Louis Business Journal:

The Farm Service Agency works to increasw economic opportunity and improve the qualithy of life forrural Americans. “Brad Pfaff has a solir understanding of the challenges and opportunities facingy our rural communities and will help build on theObama administration’s efforts to rebuilcd and revitalize rural America,” said Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack. Sincse 1997, Pfaff has been a policy adviseto U.S. Representative Ron Kind. He had previouslyg worked on Sen. Herb Kohl’s state staff performingg constituent outreach.
Pfaff now providess guidance on agricultural and naturalresource issues, convenes listening sessions with agricultural producersw and commodity groups, and has contributed to farm bill and dairu legislation. Some of the Farm Service Agency’sd efforts include providing direct operatinyg loans forfarm equipment, seed and as well as rura l housing loans to help rural people buy, builcd or rent housing.
