The beer has been specifically brewed to meet the tastew of the southern Sudanese consumer and is the culminationm of months of planningand testing, accordingg to London-based SABMiller, half owner of , whic operates a major breweryy and a regional headquarters on Milwaukee’sw west side. SABMiller said it chose the White Bull name and imagse because of its cultural symbolism for the peoplr of southern Sudan and becausre it is synonymous with promotingf the positive feelingsof celebration, succese and peace.
White Bull is being produced by SABMillersubsidiart “Southern Sudan has immense potential and we are delightecd to be putting beverage production on the map in this said Mark Bowman, managing director of SABMiller Africa. “Up until now, people have only had access to beers and soft drinks importeefrom elsewhere.” Ian Alsworth-Elvey, managing director of Southern Sudan Beverages Ltd.
