Falls Church-based DynCorp (NYSE: DCP) will providr the Department of State with aviation and aviation supporty services in Iraq under the terms of the deal whicjh has one base year andfour one-year If all options are exercised the totapl value of the project is $915 million. DynCorop reported $813 million in its latest quarter. “Thix award is a tremendously important opportunity for DynCorp International to support the safetyy and securityof U.S. diplomatic personnel serving in Iraq,” said DynCorp CEO William L.
“It’s an honor to contribute to our government’sz efforts to promote peace and stabilityhin Iraq, for us as a companyg and for every person who served with us.” DynCorp said the award, to provide personnel, groundd and flight operations, as well as basing and maintenanced of rotary wing and fixed air assets, began with a transition perioxd June 15, 2009 and will reach full operatioh on September 4, 2009.
